Why Recommend CTX Over ATC?
Heat Rejection
Know This
CTX blocks up to 80% of infrared heat vs. ATC which mostly just darkens. In hot climates this is a real, noticeable difference that customers feel on their first drive.
Signal Safe
Know This
CTX is non-metallic — no interference with GPS, phones, toll tags, or radar. Metallic films can block signals; ceramic never does.
Longevity
Upsell
Ceramic film holds its color longer, won't fade or turn purple like basic dyed films. Lifetime warranty from LLumar on CTX. Sell on total value, not just price.
Deposit & Payment Policy
Full Service Deposit
Full wraps, full PPF, and commercial print require a 50% deposit to secure the appointment. Balance due at pickup.
Partial Service Deposit
Partial wraps and partial PPF jobs may require a deposit of approximately 30% (typically covers cost of materials). Discuss with Sieng if unsure.
Card Processing Fee
A 3% processing fee applies to all credit/debit card payments. Always show this line separately so clients understand what it covers. Cash = no fee.
Missed Appointment Policy
Deposits are non-refundable for no-shows or same-day cancellations. Reschedules with 24+ hrs notice are accommodated without penalty.
Turnaround Times
Full Wrap
3–5 business days for a full color change wrap. Complex installs (chrome, carbon fiber, tight curves) may take longer.
Partial Wrap
1–2 business days for most partial wraps. Roof, hood, or racing stripe jobs may be same or next day.
Full PPF
3–5 business days for full vehicle PPF. Front-end packages are typically 1–2 days.
Window Tint
1 business day (usually a few hours). Allow 24–48 hrs before rolling windows down.
Ceramic Coating
1–2 days. Vehicle must be clean and decontaminated first. Curing takes 24–48 hrs — no washes during that period.
Vehicle Age Policy
Drift Wraps only works on vehicles 2010 or newer. Older vehicles have paint adhesion issues that can affect install quality and warranty.
Warranty Policy
1-Year Craftsmanship Warranty
Drift Wraps covers lifting, peeling, and bubbling due to installation defects for 1 year. Bring the vehicle back — we'll fix it.
Manufacturer Material Warranty
Vertical surfaces (doors, pillars): 5–7 years. Horizontal surfaces (hood, roof): 3–5 years. Applies to material defects only.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranty does NOT cover: collision damage, road debris, pressure washing, car washes with brushes, pre-existing paint issues, or improper care.
Tint Upsell — After Wrap Quote
UpsellEvery wrap customer is a tint candidate. Their new paint job looks incredible — remind them that UV rays will fade it without tint protecting the interior and reducing heat.
"Since we're already doing the wrap, now is the perfect time to add CTX ceramic tint. It protects your interior from UV, keeps it cooler, and honestly makes the whole car look more finished. We can get it done in the same visit — want me to add that to the quote?"
PPF Upsell — Protect the Investment
UpsellAfter a wrap quote, ask about front-end PPF. The wrap is a big investment — PPF on the nose of the car prevents rock chips and road debris from damaging it on day one.
"One thing I always recommend after a wrap — especially if you're doing a daily driver — is a front-end PPF package. It's about $1,800 and it protects the most vulnerable part of the car from chips and scratches. You spent [X] on the wrap, you want it to last. Want me to add that?"
Ceramic Coating Upsell
UpsellCeramic coating goes on top of the wrap or PPF to add a hydrophobic layer that repels water, dirt, and contaminants. Makes maintenance easy and extends the life of the film.
"Have you heard of ceramic coating? We can apply it over the wrap to give it a self-cleaning, hydrophobic finish. Water literally beads off. It makes the car way easier to maintain and keeps the wrap looking fresh longer. We have a 3-year package for $700 — most people add it once they hear what it does."
Chrome Delete Upsell
UpsellIf the car has chrome trim and the client is doing a dark or matte wrap, a chrome delete makes the car look more aggressive and cohesive. Easy add-on, great visual impact.
"Are you keeping the chrome accents, or do you want those blacked out to match? A chrome delete is $95/hr (cash) or $97.85/hr (card) — most cars take 3–6 hours. It completely transforms the look, especially on a matte or dark wrap. Want to add it?"
These are the real Drift Wraps objection scripts from the sales playbook. Use Option A for a soft approach, Option B for more value push.
Objection: "That's too expensive" / "I can get it cheaper"
ObjectionOption A — Emphasize value & quality:
"I completely understand that price is a big factor. What I can tell you is that with us, you're getting a premium install, premium materials, and we stand behind our work with a warranty. Cheaper prices often mean thinner films, shortcuts in prep, or less experienced installers — and that ends up costing more when the film fails early. Can I ask what price range you were quoted elsewhere?"
Option B — Offer to adjust scope:
"Totally fair — let me see what we can do. Sometimes we can adjust the scope to fit your budget — maybe a partial instead of full, or we prioritize the most visible areas. What's your number? Let's see if we can make it work."
Soft Close:
"If everything lined up — the price, the quality, the turnaround — is this something you'd want to move forward with this week?"
Objection: "I need to talk to my wife/partner first"
ObjectionOption A — Invite them both:
"Of course, that makes total sense. Would it help to bring her in so she can see the shop and the materials? Sometimes seeing the quality in person makes the decision much easier — and she might have questions I can answer for her directly."
Option B — Lock in a follow-up:
"Absolutely — no rush. What does your schedule look like this week? I can hold a spot for a few days while you two talk it over. These slots do fill up fast, especially on weekends."
Soft Close:
"Is there anything I can put together — like a written quote or some photos of similar work — that would help you two make the decision?"
Objection: "Let me think about it"
ObjectionOption A — Find the real concern:
"Of course, take your time. Can I ask — is it the price, the timing, or something specific about the service? Sometimes I can clear something up or offer a different option that makes it an easier yes."
Option B — Create urgency:
"Totally understandable. Just so you know, we're booking out about [X weeks] right now — so if you want a specific date, sooner is better. I can hold a spot for 48 hours with no commitment if that helps."
Soft Close:
"What would make this a no-brainer for you today?"
Objection: "Why should I choose you?"
ObjectionOption A — Confidence play:
"Great question. We specialize in this — it's all we do, all day, every day. We use premium films, we have trained installers, and we back every job with a warranty. You're not dropping your car off with someone doing this out of a garage — this is a real shop with real accountability."
Option B — Social proof:
"Check our reviews — our customers speak for us. We've done [X] wraps this year alone. I can show you photos of similar cars we've done right now. The work is the proof."
Soft Close:
"I'd rather earn your trust with the work than just tell you we're good. Want to come see the shop and meet the team before committing?"
How We Calculate Wrap Pricing
Know ThisFormula: (Vehicle Length ÷ 12) × Sides × 5 ft roll width = sq ft, then sq ft × (labor + material rate) = total.
Default labor rate is $9.82/sq ft. Material rates vary: gloss is $2.40, chrome is $10.43. Full wrap uses 4 sides. The calculator does all this automatically.

Material Differences — What to Tell Clients
Know ThisGloss/Matte: Most popular, widest color range, great starting point.
Color Shift: Changes color in different lighting — very dramatic, premium price.
Carbon Fiber: Textured look, popular for accents and hoods.
Chrome: Mirror finish — hardest to install, highest material cost, requires extra care in maintenance.

PPF vs. Wrap — Know the Difference
Know ThisWrap = color change / aesthetics. Protects from minor UV but not rock chips. Removable.
PPF = protection film. Usually clear (or colored). Self-healing, rock chip resistant. Also removable but more complex.
Best combo: PPF front-end + color wrap for a car that looks amazing AND is protected.

Use this when a customer asks about warranty coverage — word for word from the Drift Wraps Warranty Script.
Craftsmanship Warranty — 1 Year
WarrantyDrift Wraps provides a 1-year craftsmanship warranty on all installation work. This covers: lifting, peeling, and bubbling that occurs due to installation defects. If any of these issues appear within 1 year, bring the vehicle back and we will repair or replace the affected area at no cost.
"If you see any lifting, peeling, or bubbling within the first year, that's on us — bring it back and we'll take care of it at no charge. That's our craftsmanship guarantee."
Manufacturer Material Warranty
WarrantyThe film manufacturer also provides a material warranty: Vertical surfaces (doors, pillars, bumpers) — 5 to 7 years. Horizontal surfaces (hood, roof, trunk) — 3 to 5 years. This covers material defects like color fading, cracking, or delamination not caused by outside damage.
"On top of our craftsmanship warranty, the film manufacturer covers material defects — 5 to 7 years on vertical panels, 3 to 5 years on horizontal surfaces like the hood and roof."
What the Warranty Does NOT Cover
ExclusionsBe clear and upfront with clients about exclusions — this prevents disputes later. The warranty does not cover: collision or accident damage, rock chips or road debris impact, pressure washing or high-pressure car washes, car washes with brushes or abrasive materials, pre-existing paint damage or rust underneath the film, or improper owner maintenance.
"I want to be upfront — the warranty doesn't cover rock chips, accidents, or pressure washing. As long as you care for the vehicle normally — hand wash or touchless, avoid high-pressure direct spray on the edges — you'll be fully protected."

Critical Reminders
Important• Label every bottle — Slip, Tack, Gel. Never mix them up on the job.
• Distilled/RODI water only for Tack and Gel solutions — tap water ruins the adhesive.
• Clean bottles between batches — residue from old solution contaminates the next mix.
• Slip can use tap water in a pinch, but distilled is still preferred.

The Assumptive Close
CloseDon't ask "do you want to book?" — assume they do and ask about logistics.
"So we're looking at [service] for [vehicle]. What day works best for you to drop it off?"
The Scarcity Close
CloseUse when someone is stalling. Never make it up — be real about your actual availability.
"We're booking out [X weeks] right now. I can hold a Thursday for you if we can lock in the deposit today — otherwise I can't guarantee the spot."
The Value Summary Close
CloseWhen price was an objection — reframe by summarizing everything they're getting.
"So for [total], you're getting a full [service], premium [material], our 1-year craftsmanship warranty, and [X-year] manufacturer warranty. That's a protected car that turns heads — that's what [total] is buying. Ready to move forward?"
The Follow-Up Close
CloseFor leads that didn't close today — always leave with a next step.
"I'll send you the quote by email. When's a good time for me to follow up — maybe Thursday? I just want to make sure you got it and answer any questions."
